Faces are Burnt

Many young, beautiful, attractive and innocent women
After all why they are burnt by these cruel men?
If a girl to an unwanted lover will refuse
He may burn her face or can physically abuse
Very often we witness the worst types of cases
Unsuccessful lovers put acid and burn their beloved faces
Yong girls, before who were considered very beautiful
Are burnt by stupid persons which is so painful
Now, good reputation, these girls will not carry
Men would be ready to start “career” but not marry
By courts, instead of being sentenced to death
Culprits are bailed and to girls are giving threat
Future of these girls is spoiled, life becomes a test
Acid disfigures the face, neck or part of chest
Such number of women may not be dying through accidents
Than victims of love, dowry, land dispute and familial incidents
Could be relatives, professionals or even labours
No need to be astonished, most attackers are victims’ neighbours
